BA (Hons) Media and Cultural Studies

Studying at the University of the West of England, I researched digital media, cultural meanings in media, journalism, and undertook practice based projects exploring how multimedia can be used to sell or explore ideas.

Since then I have produced videos for corporate, cultural and charitable clients, working both locally and internationally to tell stories or advertise services. My main interest is exploring ways of improving society through creativity, technology and education.

I’ve also worked as a technical assistant on The Secret Life of the Family for Channel 5, a data wrangler on BBC’s Bake Off: Creme de la Creme and have been a cameraman on multiple live sports broadcasts at home and abroad, including the SOSH Skateboarding World Cup and Boardmasters.

For Video Tiger, my small technical set-up is designed to be easily portable. I shoot on a Canon DSLR and record sound on a small Zoom recorder. This makes it easy for me to document events, shoot vlogs and quickly turn around professional, cost-effective videos.

I’m based in Bristol and my interests include cultural studies, technology, pervasive media, music, performance and photography.
